the forever nights of vegas. everyone finds themselves at this spot before they begin their night on the town. after a few minutes reflecting on your life, you realize you are in the middle of the vegas strip and need to focus on the night ahead of you and not milestone momments in your life. party it up and forget Sinatra playing in the background....you're going to have to leave it all in vegas anyway.

i could have taken Kelly's picture the entire week everyday....she's very photogenic because she doesn't care if the camera is there so they come out so natural.

Kelly - you had to sneak taking her picture or do it so fast she wouldn't see you but with the sun behind her and her innocence displayed across her face as she plays in the sand was something i had to capture.

taken on a mountain top overlooking Maui. the sky was not this purple but still a breath taking view.

one of the most amazing nights in maui...i wanted to capture the glassy water and the sun overpowers this shot but since the color scheme runs together it's not overwhelming.

my fabulous friend minutes before her walk down the isle......the most gorgeous bride. what you are not seeing is the millions of fans in that room, it was downtown tulsa in a the basement of a big cathedral...hotter than hell....

an amazing beautiful building in boston......bit blurry though.
the lights
the mystery of the building captured my eye
the whole city was full of these

sox vs sox. we had great seats and were talking "distracting" the future world series winners as they warmed up. but got some great shots and was able to play with the sunlight and shadows.

the alleys in Beacon Hill were picture perfect......i wish i had more time there to take some shots. i rigged the camera on a post and took this because everyone had already walked down the hill and i thought the shot needed a figure in it.

one of the most beautiful views of the city, every time i'd wake up the sky would be filled with the most amazing colors. the ice covered the park, winter in it's prime. the usual grey colored sky was replaced with vibrant purples and modest blues...making those long dreaded cold mornings worth getting out of bed for.

picture this....it's january and for some random reason its 60 degrees the beach is beautiful and the last bit of snow is still covering the shadowed corners of the beach.
embrace the weather....always

and more

more and more and more
weekend of fabulousness
all wrapped up in a couple of bottles of Jameson and m&ms.
looking glass
do you belong among the wild flowers or the shifting stars?
anytime, any day, they are there...always and forever....the people you forget about on most tuesdays. but thank after a night of possible cross bone actions that could turn raw at any moment. there will always be a place in ours hearts for you no matter what, nomi....and yes....you do "know-me" well. thank you mr. looking glass
listen to the music
i love the shadows. again, in boston, maybe it's the timing or the memories of this photo. talking to one of my favorite people in the world about when all the people in my life will get married, meanwhile.....a million miles away....my dear friend was getting proposed to in an apple orchard. it's bitter sweet....and a little golden delic!

of course, at north ave beach during Prime Time.....sand, colorful towel, and aviators.
the path never traveled

this picture is of the T in Boston. simple, quiet, on the other side of the tracks is a place seen by thousand everyday as they wait for their train to approach, yet never never really notice its beauty......

this was on the harvard campus on a beautiful crisp fall day. students around and just dead center of the world's leaders surrounding us. the sun welcomed us and absorbed any sort of dignity we had not to stand out as true tourists

this picture is of a reflection of a tree at north ave beach. the month was january but for some reason it was in the low 50's that day. warm enough for me to go shoot with my new nikon. the snow was almost all melted except for a few places over the sand. it had rained overnight and that is where the reflections were coming in so clear.

something so dirty and unnoticed can be an amazing opportunity to capture a great abstract shot. the dark shadows and contrast make this photo one of my favorites.
